Does anybody know what that goop is that Life-Like coat the chassis tabs with? It certainly helps the bodies stay on and I would not mind getting some.

I bet you can page through a few mags and swipe a few strips of it. It;s this weird never dry glue... it peels right off Magnuts 06-21-2007, 04:32 PM It's a contact cement. When I raced hardbody magnet cars, we would add the contact cement to keep the bodies from flying off. Montoya1 06-21-2007, 04:46 PM Cheers. But it stays tacky and can be peeled off? Got a link? roadrner 06-21-2007, 10:39 PM Few years back we had some kids running LL cars and one drove one through the turn and bounced it on to the floor. Well, on contact, the bod popped of and as he stood there trying to put the chassis and body back together he asked why they used booggers to hold the body on. Until then, I'd never had thought about it that way. All the old farts had a good laugh. rr SwamperGene 06-21-2007, 11:08 PM Just use a pinch of that not-so-boogerish tacky picture stick up whatever it is stuff. sethndaddy 06-22-2007, 12:42 AM Just use a pinch of that not-so-boogerish tacky picture stick up whatever it is stuff. LOL, good one Gene. wheelszk 06-22-2007, 07:55 AM Just use a pinch of that not-so-boogerish tacky picture stick up whatever it is stuff. I'm glad you cleared that up. SwamperGene 06-22-2007, 05:26 PM Anytime :dude: I'm sure there's other crap out there too. :jest: I did find what appears to be a tool that LL might use for their goop... http://www.3gz.com/nb3/media/p48695_1.jpg *MAYHEM* 06-22-2007, 05:46 PM Just use a pinch of that not-so-boogerish tacky picture stick up whatever it is stuff. Does the blue or green work best? . . . :D vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
