Yeah, Better See If You Can Get Parts. I Have A Gnl190 And Can't Find A Valve Keeper Anywhere.

The GN190 engine originally had slide-on style valve spring retainers, which at times failed. The orig. setup is NLA, BUT, they have an upgrade kit, which includes springs, valves with split keys, a head gasket, and I think a new stem seal. If you need the part number, I'll post it tomorrow - my GN190 IPL is in work.

If it is a GN190 engine, it does not have an overhead cam, just overhead valves with push-rods. If you're going to do the head gsk., you may want to upgrade the valves (so it doesn't swallow one later) if the retainers are the old style - see my post in response to Geo.

Part number for valve upgrade kit: 0d24890esv
You should be able to get it for under $30.00
