Part number did not change.. Part number was the same... NEW version with rotor will have ribbed endbells, and on the top it will have an orange ring..

OLD version youll need to buy a sintered rotor.... Just go to lefthander or one of the sites and look under BL for Velocity SINTERED ROTOR..

If you have a 13.5 motor already...you don't "NEED" anything else. Run it, learn it...get to know it very well. Learn how much gear you can put on it to get 100% out of it...

If you are comfortable that you are getting 100% out of the motor (providing it doesn't already have a sintered rotor) then you could upgrade, or do as so many have done...and sell off that motor...and buy a complete new motor w/ sintered rotor at that time...
