Hopefully you could schedule some Saturday races so the Long distance racers can come out and join you!! It is over 2 hrs from my house to your track. After a day of racing on Sunday the drive home is a killer.
LOOKS GREAT!!!
vega3410 06-18-2007, 11:55 AM I would assume he is going to race on sundays due to the racing at medina is on saturdays.

Thanks for good reply.... But as for now we run on Sundays, if you come down and race we should have you back on the road by 6pm.... Our race program is only about 6 hours long. But if we get a lot of people from the western end of ohio and southern Michigan to use the track..... Race dates could change or be added.....

I hope you mean 4 or 5 minutes..... 45 mins?? are you filling shot glasses up with those 2 hoses? :freak:
We have a similar or little bit smaller footprint of a track and with 2 hoses we can water in about 8-10 mins...

WOW..... Out of all the questions I expected to answer from people, I didnt think I would have to explain the time line and reasoning of the 45min time- out for watering...... But the question has come up and I will try to answer this the best way I can.
Granted it did not take us exactly 45min to water the track, we did want to use this time for other race preperations, so some of this was included in the 45min time-out.The track still has "virgin" surface and it requires "ALOT" of water, did I say "ALOT", at times it seems that we cannot put enough on, it is crazy how much water soaks in. One of the racers came up to me today and asked why so much water was going down before the "main's", He said "I would like to drive on dirt, not in a lake." I said "watch and see has fast it dries out" By the end of the first main, it was as if we didnt do anything at all. Now that you read my "rant" I hope this made sense to you and whomever else may have been wondering about our watering schedule.
For those of you that came out today, thanks for comming out and making this day an enjoyable afternoon of racing.......

No problem Carlo71, I should know from past experience here on hobbytalk that anything listed on a forum thread needs to be detailed........ Hope you guys from Medina can make it out at least once this summer to check us out.

Kyle, glad you had fun..... But I think maybe Dave let you win...... J/K lol
feaga89k 07-02-2007, 02:02 PM no he just messed up MORE than me lol
I think it was more of that time when I went behind the large corner tabletop and had to sit there for 30-40 seconds until a marshall figured out that i was over the back side where they could not see me. My fault of course. That is what really took my 1st place lead away. Then after that I had a few more bobbles but I never did catch back up. It still was a fun day.
feaga89k 07-02-2007, 04:16 PM eather way it was still fun and im planing on coming out a few more times this summer
