I have a Kodak easy share CX7300.
I cant re-format either the internal memort or the 1gb. memory card.
When I try to re-format the internal memory, it jumps right back to the menu screen without re-formatting.
When I try to re-format the memory card, it reformats for about a minute, and then the camera shuts off.
I have blurred image quality in my pictures, the memory card I had before the new one was corrupted and couldnt be read.

Thanks for any help.

blurred image could be a setting. in the kodak easy share, there is an option to reset it back to factory defaults.

that camera didnt have zoom right? so its like a digital point and shoot disposable?
also make sure your batteries are strong...

ive seen alot of blurry pics with this camera. but its a great camera for everyday shooting. just not for close ups and super far away things....

check the battery.. yoru symptoms of not formatting seems like a battery issue possibly.

You cannot reformat an camera disk. It is pre-formatted for the type of camera so the hardware can "talk". Reformatting that is going to be like destroying the card. Deleting is basically reformatting.

every camera has an internal "reformat" from the menu button. also, if you reformat the card with your pc, and then put it in the camera, it should say "do you wish to reformat"... if not, it possibly could be a bad memory card.

You could easily test that by trying to take an picture. Cards rarely die anyways.

Their reformat button basically just deletes everything.
