Hello there. I have a Husqvarna push lawn more that I just bought last season. It's been working great so far (just last week even) but when I just went to start it (pushed the primer 3 times) it starts just fine but then after 5-10 seconds abruptly quits. If I continue to push the primer as it's trying to die it will stay running. The gas is about a month or two old... any ideas?

Your fuel may be borderline, try some fresh fuel and see if that will take care of it. You will have to drain the fuel tank and carburetor float bowl in order to tell if thats the problem. Take the bowl retaining nut off of the bottom of the carburetor to drain the fuel out of the carburetor. While you have the nut out, check the orifice drilled in the nut and make sure it is not clogged with any dirt or gum/varnish, if it is clean it before putting it back on. Then fill the tank with fresh fuel and see if that takes care of it.
It is a fuel related problem since it will start with a prime, the age of the fuel may aggravate the problem but there is likely some obstruction causing your problem since it starts with a prime of your current fuel.
