If they keep making 1/12 scale cars at least we will have some parts for the front ends as well as side shocks.

We don't need Associated anymore for oval parts. Unless you have one of those anitque L cars and need those specific chassis parts. There are plenty of options for parts. IRS, Silva, CRC sells great side shocks. The center shock parts are common parts with the RTR toy trucks and those RTR touring cars. HPI shocks for center ones if you choose. Murdock is making TRC style front end parts that will fit all of he AE style front end parts ( The upper arms, eyelets, steering blocks and pivot balls). If you need a whole new front end than the lower arms and castor blocks will need to be Murdocks. Diff parts and springs are out there. We will be just fine. IRS is making a new lower arm that will fit either side of the car. I see KSG is also in the mix with pivot balls with grooves for lube and smooth ones for the top.

There are companies out there that still support us. AE won't be missed by me.

i think he was referring to the people that would like to buy the hole kit as one assembly instead of buying some parts from this guy and a part from that guy and the last part to finish off the front end assembly from some other dude.

maybe someone should put a parts list together and post it somewhere for these guys.
.. i know finding all these parts can be a real pain in the neck if ya don't really know what you're looking for or which parts ya really want. as of right now these parts are scattered on murdock, lefthander, IRS, silva, CRC, AE, KSG etc...
just a thought.

AE has been out of the oval busniness since early last fall. I know a long time emplyee(he had been there since the 10L made its start) had been let go do to the loss of interest in anything oval related. Thunder Tiger has interest in the RTR trucks and cars. I don't think the common parts supply will run out anytime soon. If you still have an AE car dump it.
