So I wonder down to th elocal thrift shop during lunch to see what I can see.
Look there! A LL Corvette set for $4.90...
I make sure the cars are there, pay for it and run off with my "treasure"...
Upon getting to the car I take a closer look.
Uh oh... One Corvette body is cracked... Oh well...
Wait a minute. The wheels on one chassis turn way too easy.
The armature is BENT? (How day do dat?)
And the traction magnets are missing on both chassis!!!!
Dang...
Sometimes you get the bear, and sometimes the bear gets you....
Later guys..

I have a couple of the LL T Chassies without magnets. Big improvement with the traction magnets. I wondered if LifeLike meant for them to have no traction magnets in the beginning. Randy.

Scott, for pocket change you still got valuable parts for refurbishing your next victim. My spares boxes are a tribute to the bear.
The busted chassis with the good arm is right around the corner.

And that is how I should view this!

Scott,
Like you stated, sometimes you win, sometimes you loose. WTH, it's only slotcars. Hopefully you'll have more wins that losses. Dave
