jim i planned on it now my gmc truck the engine service light came on so my wife gets off early on fridays taking my truck to a friend that has shop and checking codes to see whats up hope it is something little maybee a sensor or something if not i dont want to drive it to lansing pulling trailer if that light is still on . this car is the second car off the assembly line at quarterscale motorsports for lightnings when larry took over lightnings from chuck talk to you later if i go to lansing i will run my old car theres alot to do on this new car and not enough time in the days. plus i dont want to rush it.

this is from a dealer. i bought a new car a few yrs. ago and on the way home the light came on so i pulled into a dealer to have it checked. he found the problem and told me not to worry until i could get it back to where i bought it from. he told me that as long as the light is not blinking not to worry just take it to a dealer at my convience. also check your gas cap this is the no. 1 reason for the light to come on. (let's go racing boys) see ya sun.

yes it was the gas cap the checked codes said gas cap 3 times my buddy turned light off and i bought new gas cap at autozone. the old one was tight i took it on and off a few times tightened it good but light stayed on my buddy said the gasket on the cap was cracked and weathered so put new cap on and hopefully it wont come on anymore thank god i got enough on my mind now.lol.
