Don Herbert has passed

AM Coast to Coast ( radio ) last night re-played part of one of their past programs on which Don Herbert was the guest. It was great to hear him again! I've been lamenting for years his absence from television!

I hope that Nickelodeon will see fit to re-run the series he did for them ( I'd still love to see the old original B&W series! ). Maybe if we're lucky we'll get them on DVD!

Rest well Mr. Wizard! You are already sorely missed!

Being ancient enough to remember Don's original series, this came as a big blow to me. Mr. Wizard was one of the staples of my tv viewing in my youth.

Really sorry to hear of his passing.
