Well gang we can finally let the cat out of the bag.

MCG 4 - TWO SETS....
Greenlight will be releasing a second color scheme of MCG S&C 4
for one of our retail partners that we will be releasing to our hobby dealers as well. The set features all the same castings, with varying color schemes on each car. This set will be available in late July, and is available until we are sold out under the item number "12620T". With two color variations available, we are able to keep the run editions lower, and therefore more collectible, than they were in Series 3

We worked hard to make sure the Hobby Guys will get this set also, and it is good to see Kevin and Jason supporting the Hobby Distributors.

DON'T WAIT PRE-ORDER NOW AS WE CAN ONLY GET SO MANY OF THESE SETS!

They are on our website NOW!

No if you read the release Greenlight did this so they could keep Target happy and keep lower production runs.

Have Fun,

This question might have already been ask, but does this mean that the hobby set only has 6 cars in it with 1 color each, and the mass market set has 6 of the same cars but different colors? If so, then all they did was just split up the regular set of 12 cars you bought as a hobby set correct?

stang,
We only sell sets, in fact they are all sealed cases we don't open any so we ship every green machine just as a regular car.

Mac,
No they are both 12 car sets, Greenlight only released photos of the stock versions today.

Have Fun,

You mean Target is gonna carry Greenlights now ??? Hard enough to find at KMart .. At least will have more places to look ....
Funny thing is , I repainted a custom 71 Charger Purple when detampoing failed & ruined the paint job ... Looks similar to the one GL is doing .... At least theirs will have correct details ..

The new Charger Is what Im wanting. I already have the Norev SRT-8 and want to see how GL will compare to that model.

With the exception of the Coronet which is a casting modification to a convertible all the castings are new for this release.

The '71 Charger is an existing casting, changed from an R/T to a Super Bee (different hood, grille, etc).....the Coronet modification was the year ('67 to '66-different grille, taillights (I presume)), a convertible was already done in the Barrett-Jackson series..
