View Full Version : GREENLIGHT Announced 2nd Color of Muscle Garage 4
1 Stop Diecast 06-12-2007, 06:10 PM Well gang we can finally let the cat out of the bag.
MCG 4 - TWO SETS....
Greenlight will be releasing a second color scheme of MCG S&C 4
for one of our retail partners that we will be releasing to our hobby dealers as well. The set features all the same castings, with varying color schemes on each car. This set will be available in late July, and is available until we are sold out under the item number "12620T". With two color variations available, we are able to keep the run editions lower, and therefore more collectible, than they were in Series 3
We worked hard to make sure the Hobby Guys will get this set also, and it is good to see Kevin and Jason supporting the Hobby Distributors.
DON'T WAIT PRE-ORDER NOW AS WE CAN ONLY GET SO MANY OF THESE SETS!
They are on our website NOW!

Franklin2700 06-12-2007, 07:19 PM TWO colors? Man o man... lemme guess, a big increase in production numbers again as well?
Cletuss 06-12-2007, 07:58 PM oh man how cool, thanks for the sneak peek.
1 Stop Diecast 06-12-2007, 08:05 PM No if you read the release Greenlight did this so they could keep Target happy and keep lower production runs.
Have Fun,
Fred

stangcollector 06-12-2007, 09:04 PM can you pre-order singles or just full sets?
summitdrinker 06-12-2007, 09:34 PM awesome colors, I like the colors of the 64 plymouth
Tomcatslair 06-12-2007, 10:15 PM definitely another great product by Greenlight
macnut 06-12-2007, 10:43 PM This question might have already been ask, but does this mean that the hobby set only has 6 cars in it with 1 color each, and the mass market set has 6 of the same cars but different colors? If so, then all they did was just split up the regular set of 12 cars you bought as a hobby set correct?
1 Stop Diecast 06-13-2007, 01:16 AM stang,
We only sell sets, in fact they are all sealed cases we don't open any so we ship every green machine just as a regular car.
Mac,
No they are both 12 car sets, Greenlight only released photos of the stock versions today.
Have Fun,
fred

edseldave 06-17-2007, 02:32 AM You mean Target is gonna carry Greenlights now ??? Hard enough to find at KMart .. At least will have more places to look ....
Funny thing is , I repainted a custom 71 Charger Purple when detampoing failed & ruined the paint job ... Looks similar to the one GL is doing .... At least theirs will have correct details ..
moparmarc 06-17-2007, 05:31 AM They are so sweet!
sonicsgp1 06-17-2007, 08:27 AM Dodge coronet again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MoparNut360 06-22-2007, 09:20 PM I'm drooling over that '66 Coronet,hope they also make a hardtop version...
stretchdog 06-23-2007, 01:07 AM The new Charger Is what Im wanting. I already have the Norev SRT-8 and want to see how GL will compare to that model.
kevinmtg 06-23-2007, 03:05 AM Hopefully in Series 5 we'll see some new castings.
Mikietom 06-23-2007, 06:02 PM With the exception of the Coronet which is a casting modification to a convertible all the castings are new for this release.

The '71 Charger is an existing casting, changed from an R/T to a Super Bee (different hood, grille, etc).....the Coronet modification was the year ('67 to '66-different grille, taillights (I presume)), a convertible was already done in the Barrett-Jackson series..
Mikietom 06-24-2007, 10:27 AM You are correct - me bad (sorry)
Mike
glhshelby 06-24-2007, 10:55 AM I hope the GM`s of each version will be different when opened. If not I won`t even bother trying to get one.
