Hobbly Lobby used to carry the JL slot cars. Will they, or others stores, carry the new AW slot cars? Toys R Us? KayBee? Wal-Mart? K-Mart?

Mine was not planning on ordering any, though I asked if they would order some TJets. We'll see. The problem with my local retailer (more than one store) is simple. He buys sets (with track, not sets of cars), and sells most of them for Christmas presents. If it's like the past few years he'll have TOMY and LifeLike sets, maybe a 1/32 Scaley. Folks come back in looking for another car to run with their set, he stocks the same brand of car. Some stores had X traction (Dukes and Mopar) and they were slow sellers. dlw 06-14-2007, 10:16 AM You guys have already seen the semi mockups on the sneak-peek cam......Well, when they are put into production, AW could see if fuel companies, delivery companies, retail chains, beverage (alcoholic or otherwise) companies, etc, would like a special run of logoed semis made for them to sell (like Sunoco selling those toy trucks). For instance, when I go to the post office, I see the stuff they have for sale: beanie babies/ bears (stupid, lol), banks, stationery... How cool would it be to see a slotcar semi done in Post Office livery? vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
