Those of us that follow Nascar on television will surely miss the gentleman's commentary. He was fun to watch drive, and who can forget his clinching the 1973 title? For those who are too young or have bad memories, he was in a crash early in the race and his crew got him back on the track w/ the entire right side of the car missing. He finished high enough in the race to clinch the title ahead of Cale Yarborough. Cale Yarborough and Richard Petty took most of the titles in the 70s. Prior to this race I don't think that I appreciated the pit crews impact on a race
