The packages these came on with the necessary accessory - The GLO SHOOTER were gigantic - almost a foot tall and about 8 inches wide, the big set sold for 2.97 apiece 25 years ago......talk about a retail store space hog, a very low price - probally low profit item eating the toy isle alive, now its all about space at the retail level, and less about presentation i suppose.

I have the one in the top photo.....I didn't remember that it used to be that colour. It was well played with....I think it even still kind of glows. I'll have to dig it out and see.

Thanks for the memories!

I havn't glowed mine in some time Whitese, so I just held a flashlight up to them for minute and the glowed very nicely!

Your model is the Twilight TR (Triumph namesake on the trunk)

these little rascals were built to last forever if they were taken care of, solid metel base, with the body afixed to the base with brass screws, while i don't have many US Lesney based models made in Hong Kong, these particular toys were. Just fun and a bit different.....

I also have a couple of Matchbox - Hong Kong unraced Slot Cars, the neat "Catch Me" Corvette as one example, I'm just not sure if folks here want to see that type of stuff, being slot cars, that is.
