mike sounds all great I wish this was done a long time ago I would have made the effort to race in the tour this year. A comment to the donations, I think Jon Anderson would like to have RKR(owner) thrown in there and only list a KSKT chassis will be donated. RKR is the actual company jon is my main dist for the selling of the KSKT chassis'. Good luck mike, from talking to you it seems you have alot on your plate, and doing it right.

Thanks Clayton, it was fun....
I had to keep the legacy that the car holds, more or less I got "warned" that I had to, it was good even with the wrong tires on it.... :cool:

Racing was great all day, only lightly banged wheels once with Howard on the way by, but other than that, was really clean racing all day...More so than I've watched in the past.... :thumbsup:

Now that it's after the fact, Mike you can dock me that lap for missing the drivers meeting.... :D

mike since summer time is the worst time for carpet racing as it appears from the past to present, would you consider some type of offroad series just for the summer and then do the carpet seen in the winter months. there is 4 tracks that come to mind that we already have on the tour or has been, that have out door tracks.

wdra series, thats why I suggested offroad since we attend those tracks already. like i said just a thought, I am sure if it was put together by someone who actualy races offroad it would be good for those types of racers.

First I'd like to extend a Congratulations and a standing ovation to Mike and Terry Valentine for stepping up, taking over and reviving the NEOT Tour. :thumbsup:

In the event the racers and sponsors aren't aware, the NEOT points fund has to rebuild from a zero balance since the Valentines have taken over-with just a few races left. This is a great opportunity for all sponsors to help out the tour as well as the racers who support the tour and our companies.

I just wanted to throw this idea out there before the conclusion of this years series. Since the points fund for the entire series will only be revenue that can be collected from the few remaining races, there won't be much of a point fund to purchase trophies, etc;

Here is an opportunity for the sponsors to come to the rescue, by making product/prize donations. The product/prize donations could go toward the point fund and be distributed accordingly.

Example: To insure the racers receive a little something, we (Putnam Propulsion) have decided to donate $50 gift cards for Putnam Propulsion products to the points champ for each class.

If any sponsors or companies could donate additional product, giveaways, etc; to help out the limited resources that will be available for the point fund, I'm sure that the racers would greatly appreciate it.

Just a thought-:thumbsup:

I will be attending the Maximus race to support the NEOT race, also would like to applaud Todd Putnam and the Valentine's for making the NEOT tour continue, I will try to make as many races as I can. I don't want to see oval die in the Northeast. Mike and Todd keep up the great work.

Let us get back on track here. Guys attending Marshalls Hilltop Hobbies race and want to be apart of the tour, please stop by and see me at the track.I will be walking around, so please stop me ans sign in. Bill/Dot will not be collecting any money for the NEOT tour. It most be gotten to me if you want points or a chance to win any of the NEOT Race Prizes. I will have raffle tickets for each of you when you sign in. It will also give me a chance to get your names so the tour points can be adjusted after the mains. I'm also working on getting some additional sponsors for the remaining two races and keep them on board for next year. Looking forward to racing at Marshalls again. If anyone doesn't remember Marshalls does have an indoor track, so we will be running no matter the weather. So guys you can't use that as an excuse this time. MV

Start time is 12:00 (noon). They also have a normal Saturday night race for any one wanting a little extra practice or to just set up there stuff and get a good night rest. See you guys their.
