Question for the Nitro guys. I'm working on a Nitro Rustler for a friend. It has a .15 engine(not traxxas) the engine has the R symbol that appears to be Novarossi But i dont think it is. On the bottom of the R where it would say Novarossi it says engine. anyways, the problem is the enigine gets real hot real fast. I'm talking over 300 with in 5min. using a temp gun on the inside of the head. I have the mixture screw set 2 turns out and Idle screw set to about a 1/8 opening maybe less. and the idle is erractic at times. I'm thinking the piston and sleave maybe junk. But i wanted to get a few opinions first before coming to that conclusion. It;s been a few years since I've messed with nitro. Any Suggestions?
