View Full Version : Please JADA
97XR7 06-05-2007, 03:13 PM Get something new to the stores.
I'm SO SICK of seeing VW's. If all I wanted to buy was VW's all the time I would buy Hot Wheels, all they seem to put out is VW this and VW that.
JADA, come up with your own thing. Quit trying to make money off of HW's collectors. I always see all this new stuff comming out on here but this is the only place I see it.I dont want to have to go to online dealers just to buy your product. The only thing makeing it to stores is VW's. I'm so sick of VW's, I could of put together 10 sets of the V Dubs by now cause there warming the pegs everywhere. The last JADAs I bought were the For Sale series and there now warming the pegs. When are you going to release anything new?
Is this series over with and your just clearing back stock or are there more castings or repaints to follow?
HELP
I need a JADA fix or I'm going to move on to another brand.
eyecandy 06-07-2007, 12:40 AM tell your stores to send the VW's to Lafayette, IN!!!! I am getting close to going to OLD's for my VW's!
97XR7 06-07-2007, 03:19 AM PLEASE come on down to Madison. It's VW Heaven here. Every scale, all VW's with a few muscle car 1:18 and 1:24 scale cars collecting dust.
Maybe if you come buy them all, just maybe we'll get in something new(hint hint). lol
CJTORINO 06-07-2007, 11:14 PM geez, I stumbled upon some new JADA stuff just yesterday over in Billings,
2 '39 Dodge Airflow tankers, 2 '47 Ford COE Box trucks and a Divco Milk truck.
I had to buy them after almost regurgitating my meal after seeing the price of the Johnny Lightning items I had found.
I'll tell ya, The Jada stuff looks pretty good at $2.49 when they want $4.77 each for the JL on the pegs.
97XR7 06-10-2007, 12:59 AM My Wal-mart finally got in some new Jada. 1 case of Wave 6 from 2006 and 2 cases of DONKS. Dont know where there going to put them since they filled the pegs with DONKS a few weeks ago and havent sold a single one.
glhshelby 06-10-2007, 09:07 PM I still haven`t figured out whats worse.Donks or VW`s clogging the pegs everywhere :freak:
97XR7 06-10-2007, 09:49 PM I did break down and bought Vdub today. The Silver Bullet Drag Bus.
Thats it tho, didnt really find anything I wanted to spend my money on.
Out hunting today and after hitting 3 Wal-marts,2 Kmarts,Meyers,Target, and TRU the only new diecast anyone had was Matchbox.
spencer1984 06-10-2007, 09:55 PM The VWs are finally starting to slow down around here, and I saw my first '85 Camaro over the weekend.

Thats what I'm waiting on, Will buy multiples of everyone I find.
What few Irocs first showed up in 85 were 305 carbed cars, basically a Z-28 with Iroc badgeing and they never were two toned with different colored ground effects from the body.Sorry for the nit picking but I have an 89 in the driveway and hate seeing a long awaited casting screwed up.Now if we can just get a 3rd gen Firebird. I've give up on GreenLite ever releaseing there version. :(
and please discontinue the 'Donks' so that those full pegs can be used for Jada stuff that people really want and does sell...
(sorry, spent the whole weekend looking for VW transporters with sliding beds and the only thing I had not trouble finding was unsold Donks...)

You think that's bad, the Monte Carlo SS never had ground effects past the front apron - there's no hope for a factory stock version of that car from Jada ;)
Actually, in both cases I think the mods are very well done. My wife had an '82 Camaro and I had an '84 Monte Carlo, so both cars are on our "must get" list. If you want an accurate version of your car, Revell has a pretty decent kit available.
seveland 06-12-2007, 07:22 AM the walmarts in my town just put out D-Rods wave 1 and Donks wave 2. Where's the new stuff?
cwescapexlt4x4 06-15-2007, 03:03 PM no over stock of VW's here (except some busses 1/24th scale) but I want the wave 3 of the VW's so PLEASE ship them, just not to 97XR7's store ;)
Thanks!
97XR7 06-17-2007, 11:16 PM Did some hunting today. Still no Camaros or the raceings VW's, but we got DONKS  Maisto couldnt sell them so why does JADA think they can? :drunk:
Diecast Camaro Collector 06-19-2007, 12:10 AM I just found 2 1:24th scale '85 "Irocs" today,a black drag car and the blue one.I didn't care too much for the inaccuracies, the tail lights didn't have the grids painted black and the grill wasn't correct either. At least it has the tpi engine.I also found the 1:24th scale camaro concept cars(4).
