A customer has brought me a Honda EG5000 generator and wanted new rings installed, he asked me if I would do it, I told him I would. I am new to working on Honda engines and didnt realize Honda was so hard to get info from. I have a few questions before I tear this apart. the customer is a contractor , uses the generator daily. he said that it is using excessive oil and provided me with the rings and gasket set.The engine is a GX340, GC05-3018824.

my questions are...

what couples the engine output shaft to the generator, what will I see when I seperate the 2 items ?

what are the torque values of the rod bearing cap and the head bolts?

what are the valve clearances.

I checked the Honda Europe website but no help.
