Cartainly there are similarities with the engine way out back. In any event, the A110, in particular, is an iconic car with an impressive competition history. Doesn't look half bad either.

The A110 has the styling edge on the 356 as well. Wasn't even aware that it was rear engined. :confused: It was one of the few from that era that I never laid a wrench on. Never were any around Shelby to fool with. Always liked the bidy style though.

very good car but very difficult to buy now, even in France.
Estimated price for a real one is now around 40000 euros, approx US$ 52000 !!!

A lot of them (A110) go to Japan.......
