Together with it's younger Impy brother, when cost cutting was word of the day. No opening features, plastic base and no interior. Hey, sounds like a Maisto...
craftymore 06-04-2007, 03:01 PM Nice finds of a great casting. I've never seen any of those in person. Thanks for the pics.
Henri Kroeze 06-04-2007, 03:21 PM Although Lone Star Impy is an European brand, the Mustang is quite a rare catch over here...
robertwadehall 06-04-2007, 06:35 PM Wow...fascinating..didn't know those existed... I have a couple of Lone Star Impys in my collection, but unfortunately, I can't recall what they are right now.. :(
Scott Moen 06-04-2007, 08:40 PM Hi Henri,
VERY NICE Lone Star / Impy Mustangs ! It took me a long time to add a Lone Star and Impy Mustang to my collection. Here they are ....

Here are a few other odd ball / rare 1:64 Mustangs in my collection ....
AMT PUP '68 Mustang and a ELDON '67 Mustang (made in Spain)
http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l182/WisMach1/misc-1.jpg
And last but not least .... a Barton Magic Toy '66 Mustang Coupe (plastic body/metal base).... note the similar BP design to an original HW RL BP.

Thanks for looking all !

Scott Moen 06-07-2007, 03:59 PM do you know the mini corgi, 1/64, as well?
The only 1:64 Corgi Mustangs I have are the '79 Mustang hatchback body style. Are there others ?
Scott
tompb001 06-07-2007, 04:04 PM not sure.
A small picture of mine?
Henri Kroeze 06-07-2007, 04:25 PM Scott, that are some nice old die casts! I love the Impy box!! I only have the older style boxes, not this 'new' design.
Regarding Mini Dinky's: I have the three Corvettes ('57, '63 and some early 70-s) who are all originally made by Kidco. All three are MIB but on the back of the blister is no mention of any Mustang...
tompb001 06-07-2007, 04:42 PM yes, I was meaning mini Dinky.
Hope the pictures are OK.
It is presented in a garage.
tompb001 06-07-2007, 04:44 PM do you know crio?

Henri Kroeze 06-07-2007, 04:46 PM That is something completely different from my mini Dinky's...

tompb001 06-13-2007, 03:46 PM Hi Andrew,
nice collection. Only 1/64?
Andrew73 06-14-2007, 06:22 AM Hi tompb001,
Yeah all most all are 1/64 or smaller. They take up less space than the larger ones. althoughit is awful tempting to get some of the larger scale mustangs out there. (wife won't like it very much though if I did - lol)
tompb001 06-14-2007, 03:24 PM I understand.
I did that mistake !!!!!!!! :dude:
