Three little cycles that adorned stores in the mid sixties, for a standard range release, the copper Harley Davidson sure has turned out to be one hard to find rascal over the years, i have always wondered why, i am sure it was created in large numbers, or at least i would imagine so - maybe its so popular that it has taken on the trait as highly collectible with the collectors that are lucky enough to own one, they never let them go ?

in total, i have about 25 model of yesteryears in my collection, about 15 of them were bought for me in 1966 to 67 by my momma as either birthday presents or christmas presents, within the last 10 years or so, i bought a few more or traded for them, mostly the very early toys, like the #7 4 ton leyland, i really like them because they were so small
i seriously lack knowledge of the entire range tho, i know the sunbeam had 2 colors released of the sidecars interior seat, either dark green or a emerald green and both were released to retail, as far as the black seat version, i dont really know how they came about....i do know fakes abound in great mass the last couple of years of a wide range of colors, and australia seems to be the country where these are being churned out at.
in regards to my little sunbeam, i bought mine to replace my loose childhood example, it cost me 35.00 mint in a very tidy box with the origanal store price sticker on the box, its just the common seat color of green, and truly, i think i wanted the example of the box, more than the model itself.
