AND the new SFM Class (STUPID FAST MOD) will or can be run this weekend, but we must have pre-entries in by the cutoff date listed at the www.southwesttour.com (http://www.southwesttour.com) web site to get pre-entry price. ALL Paid Entries the day of the race will be subject to a higher rate. (ONE day entries will ONLY be allowed on SATURDAY at a ONE DAY rate, anyone wishing to run on SUNDAY will pay the full $50.00 WEEKEND entry fee rate PLUS the $10.00 LATE fee if not pre-entered.

With the help of our regular series sponsors and those who have come on board for this event, I believe we've already exceeded the $2000.00 mark for "CASH and PRIZES" to be awarded.

For the racers in the SWTour Oval Series - we are planning a special event coming up in JULY.

The "ALLSTAR SHOOTOUT" will be a 4300 Brushless race on the high banks of the ENCINO VELODROME the day after our normal points series event.

This event is for ALL of the racers in the 'TOUR' and all the previous SERIES CHAMPIONS and '07 Race winners will be automatically qualified for the 20 car field.

The rest of the 20 car field will be made up of racers in a Last Chance Shootout which will be a 20 lap event. (Should be about a 3 1/2 minute run)

Starting positons for the 'pre-qualified' racers will be determined with a single car 4 lap qualifying session.

The "ALLSTAR SHOOTOUT" Main Event will be made up of 2 segments.

The first segment - a 20 lap SPRINT with cash and prizes to the winner. The finishing order will determine the starting grid for segment 2.
The 2nd segment - this will be a 30 lap charge for ALL the GLORY with CASH and PRIZES to the WINNER.
We ARE looking for sponsors to be a part of this event - we've got a GREAT group of OVAL racers who have supported R/C Oval Racing & the South-West Tour Series for the past 7 years, and I'd like to make this a SUPER Event for ALL of them
