There is a web site that folks can use to submit feedback on traders, so that a user can quickly look someone up and see how their other trades have gone.

http://www.heatware.com

I learned about this site on the Anandtech trader forum, whilst swapping PC hardware. Most of the guys there use Heatware (much like ebay feedback) to keep track of good & bad trades. There is also another site you may want to check out:

http://www.trollhunters.com

These guys go after folks who have ripped people off on forums. They have lots of good links and information on what to do if you get scammed, and how to prevent being scammed.

If you want to see how heatware works, visit the site, and for instance, you can look up my evals (I only have one right now from Anandtech) -- my name is randalee on Heatware, just like here.

Anyways, I'm going to start using it more with the trades I do here, and ask people I trade with for feedback on heatware. It's not a bad idea. This feedback forum is great, since it's our own little community feedback center, but I thought you guys might like to know about Heatware if you already didn't

i want to bump this to the top, one of the other admins must have removed my thread
about heatware for some reason?

this is a great site for extra feedback and can be used for all types of trading around the net!

I'm going to give it another bump. I think this needs a sticky!
