Hello to all ..
Was wondering if you could help my neighbour with his dilema ..
When he starts his lawn mower the primer button sucks in and stays in ..
When the mower is off and you push primer it stays in and very slowly retracts all way out .. My brother mentioned that there may be a small hole in the center of the rubber primer that may be plugged and i looked at it with a magnifier and it did not look to be a pin hole of any kind so i did not poke a hole in it to open it .. It is not mine so i did not want to ruin it on him .. Would any one of you experienced people have a solution for him , thank you ! :)

At first glance, it sounds like a clog in the fuel line - something is keeping additional fuel from displacing the fuel pumped to the carb when the button is pressed. But it runs OK once started? Maybe a weak spring under the button is the culprit.

It seems to be a clog in the fuel line, ask him the check the lines =)

PS, dont poke a hole in the primer

that happened to me so i switched the lines going to the primer bulb around and it worked.
