View Full Version : Went nuts to get a couple E-Types!
kenpooro 05-27-2007, 06:22 AM In a weak moment I laid out $20 for 2 ten packs at A Wally World 60 miles from home:

The red one was what I was after,

but saw the blue #27 in a second ten pack and couldn't resist.

Here's what I have to date:

60sMetal 05-27-2007, 09:45 AM Nice set there!! That blue #27 is pretty sharp looking.
JP2-NC-JL-CRAZY 05-27-2007, 10:08 AM Those are really nice. Probably my favorite casting from MB, right now.

teeeye81 05-27-2007, 10:46 AM There's at least 2 more your missing not counting license plate variations. The lite yellow Stars of cars and metallic gold from Best of Britian. I think the new superfast variation was just released. Ever the chase!

STUTZ 05-27-2007, 01:44 PM The Jag is my favorite new MB casting.
I'll have to get the blue #27 Jag. It's really nice!
GO-GTO 05-28-2007, 10:46 AM Nice! I'm still looking for the #6 car.
Where can you find the yellow and gold ones?
teeeye81 05-28-2007, 11:15 AM GO-GTO, The Best of British was supposed to show up at some retailers here in the states in May. Haven't seen them though. Of course Ebay. You might try here:

terry9911 05-28-2007, 11:54 AM Go ahead and make car noises,,,, Vrrrrrrooooooooooooooom! You'll feel better about spending the money. :)
Quantum 05-29-2007, 04:05 PM Doesn't the red one come in a single blister...?
teeeye81 05-29-2007, 05:07 PM Quantum,
Yes, it was released as a single blister. It has 2 different license plates. Also cam in the pictured 10 pack.

kenpooro 05-29-2007, 09:46 PM The single blister was everywhere around here for months. I was not really collecting many MB's at the time. By the time I was it had disappeared from the 100 mile corridor of the state where I hunt. And I mean GONE!
slythorne 06-01-2007, 12:04 PM It is a nice casting.. one of the best MB has made in a while, but I still couldn't pay $10 to get that blue one.. or even $3 to get the SF one. They were tempting tho!

Thanks for the link!
This looks like another series similar to the New Superfast. I hope they show up around here.

I didn't know that the red Jag came with 2 different license plates. I'll have to check mine. Thanks!
teeeye81 06-04-2007, 09:06 PM The 2 license plates on the red one are: 61Jaguar & FAJ7U1R.
The light yellow one has the same 2 plates also.
Tom
chrycopaul 06-04-2007, 09:55 PM The second plate translates into 61JGUAR. I saw a photo today on another site of a black one with the old style Superfast wheels. Ithink it is the best looking one yet,
