serious I have one of the helping hands if anybody wants it. I bought it with intentions but.. It didn't move fast enough ..LOL Great for small parts and holding pieces to dry.

Granson Jimmy coined the term Mr. Roboto. Every so often I hose down my "helping hands" with paint stripper and slosh it through the solvent tank - good as new!

WOW!!! What a coincidence. I recently just bought the helping hands (or a Mr. Roboto, as Bill calls it). Can't wait to see if it helps ( remember i'm the one with all thumbs :) ). A magnifying lamp is next. I'm tired of trying to put things together by feel only ... LOL. Yup i'm old (53) and the eyesight is failing..but it's never tooo late to have a second childhood.
