I see two very old threads stating that they have manuals available for download.
One is from a guest user (deken) from 2004 and the other from "briggsguy" who posted four topics last year including the claim to have all these manuals and hasn't been seen since.

Given the hundred + replies to these posts, has anyone gotten any results?
Or an increase in spam after publishing an email address?

Check the sticky helpful links there are some good links to dl manuals etc.
I don't think either of the op's of those other threads are around anymore.

I am looking for a repair manual for a Tecumseh TVS100-44015B. I'm guessing most of the stuff is going to be intuitive, but I would like to see some specs on bore dia tolerances, etc. I have found parts list for this and places to buy parts. I have not found any after market internal engine parts. Anybody know of a place that sells them? I don't know if this engine is really worth fixing, but its a matter of it not getting the better of me.

I think this covers your engine.

That one covered mine. Many thanks for the link hdman97. Unfortunately the manual does not answer my magnet question. It just sez the flywheel gotta be replaced! lol

You can download service manuals for a few engines, like Tecumseh and Kohler, from the public internet domain, but, not for Briggs & Stratton. But, they are pretty cheap to buy and well worth the money.
The Briggsguy was a hoax.
hope this helps,
thanks,
