Stopped by my local TSC after work and scored all the NEWEST John Deere diecasts you can imagine !!! They had the newest tractor sets , construction 1/64 , 1/32 sets , tractor-trailers . And they come on a DISPLAY PALLET !!

And today i got the NEWEST John Deere semi out . Its the Ertl 2007 1/64 John Deere Semi with Excavator !! Its got the international COE 9800 cab on it to by the way . Heres a pic !

That is a nice set to have. I will be on the look out for that one to add to my JD truck collection. I have about 25 different trucks right now for JD.

Yeah its the only one that i got today . And its also the ONLY new one out for 2007 so far . I dont know why they dont just come out with an entire NEW assortment all at once ? Oh well still awesome to score some NEW stuff :)


Also forgot to add that these are $9.93 at TSC vs walmart charging $10.99 !!

Is ERTL putting out any non- John Deere 1/64 semis? I like the JD and all, but I have four already, need some different trucks to go with them.

Yes, they are. Usually found carded, they are the same rigs as the JD, painted differently.

Went back to TSC and looked again at the JD display pallet and finally figured out what is different about the 4wd and dump truck semi's ! THEY HAVE NEW TRACTOR CABS ON THEM !! lastyear ( 2006 ) they had the dump truck with a KW and the 4wd tractor with a frieghtliner . This year 2007 they are both PETERBILT cabs ! So i picked up the 4wd semi rig . Might be able to add a pic sometime tonight !
