View Full Version : Two wagons for the show?
Mark Hosaflook 05-22-2007, 08:12 AM Due to the popular demand and requests for wagons, rumor has it there are two wagons in the AutoFest casting line-up this year. Another rumor is that one of them is manufactured in an exclusive way for only the show with no less than three manufacturing variations. Rumor has it less than 200 of these cars will be made.
My advice is to make sure you make the Dinner this year.;)
Lpgeoteacher 05-22-2007, 08:35 AM I'm paid up! YES! Is it true Ozmont will be making Margaritas?
Mark Hosaflook 05-22-2007, 08:47 AM Really? I hadn't heard that but later in the Hospitality room that might not be all bad or perhaps lounging around the pool?
Lpgeoteacher 05-22-2007, 09:31 AM It might take some scooby snacks!
Now do you think we'll be lounging by the pool? Only if people were throwing diecast into the pool would people get wet!
GeraldE61 05-22-2007, 11:45 AM I see it now, Mark tosses a very limited car in the pool, Myself, Scott and Rob all jump into the pool at once, can you see this in your mind? The pool would have no water left, lol.
ozmont 05-22-2007, 11:58 AM I will be making Pumpkin margaritas in the Hospitality room after the show has ended.
For Chris I will make a special drink for him.....V & V
Vodka & Vinegar

But that would make it easier to get the car.... if we didn't kill each other... :freak:
ozmont 05-22-2007, 08:53 PM So help me if Chris starts strutin' around the pool area in a Speedo and drinking a Mai Tai, I'll start smackin' him with orange Hot Wheels track!

stanmmx 05-22-2007, 09:26 PM Dear Mark:
Any chance to know what kind of wagons are these? I am truly hoping for a Coronet Wagon 1975,but hey,I would get any of them when avaliable.
Nick K
P.S.: Generally,I keep away from pools and large bodies of water.

Excuse me but I thought you'd be making Pumpkin Margaritas and V&Vs! Where do the Mi tais come into play? Sound like this should be drunkfest!?!
Macs_Little_Car 05-23-2007, 07:17 AM Not if you are wearing a speedo and ozmont is spanking you with track sections.. even I have my limits!!!
Lpgeoteacher 05-23-2007, 07:41 AM **Hangs head and kicks at small rock on the ground** Gee, then I guess I'll take that new BWF Speedo back.
robmcin 05-23-2007, 07:47 AM Nobody should wear a speedo... male people anyway.... and especially not people OUR size!!!!!

Well the Thank You Car Studebaker wagon is already known. The other is a Mopar but not a Coronet. I'm not aware of any Coronet available in die-cast.
Lpgeoteacher 05-23-2007, 08:15 AM So TELL US! The pressure is just too much!

Chris, It's called a Surprise Dinner Car. Last year everything was a surprise.......what was the casting.....would it be there........would there be a surprise.....and on and on. Everthing is known in advance and I'd like to get back to the tradition of having a little surprise at the meal, not a big one where a half hour explanation is required with smoke and mirrors. Even those who "think" they know what it is have not seen the car and some of my information was planted so we all will have to sit back and wait.;) :)
Lpgeoteacher 05-23-2007, 09:28 AM Surprizes are for wusses! Inquiring minds want to know!
ok....Sits and crosses arms and frowns like a scolded spoiled child....

I don't know.... I don't think I know....... my head hurts

Silly that because it's so high up in the atmosphere! There is little air up there!
:freak: :freak: :freak:
Looks in mirror and giggles uncontrollably....

Dear Mark:
Tomica did it, a 4-door sedan 1975/1976,which was copied by Yat Ming and other generic manufacturers.
