It was a great day. It started off at 6 a.m. when Eyecandy showed up at my front door. He was soon followed by Ozmont. We all jumped into Ozmont's Avalon and swung by the Super 8 Motel and gathered up Bill and Pat Terek.
A quick drive to Niles Michigan for needed coffee and food. Mark and Adam joined us there to give us a great sendoff.

Here are some picts of the day.

It was a great day!!

Weather was perfect. Filled 2 voids in the BWF collection. Found the JL Hearse I was looking for. Eyecandy filled a Hollywood empty spot. Watched Ron bring home about 75 cars.

That show looks like it's becoming the next Toledo? Very nice variety of stuff. Brings back lots of cool memories to see the pictures.

So what did you score Ron?

It's true - made in Japan by a company called Leadworks, but in the 1980s! No antique toy, but a "collector model," and fairly common. It does use the molds from a 1950s toy Zero, though.

One of the boxes that holds a the track show's a Karmann Ghia. I have'nt been able to locate one of those yet.

We will miss Pat and Bill (always love to see the "Happy Dance")

If anyone wants to hook up for the show let us know. After a morning of toy shopping there is a great place to have lunch afterwards in Paw Paw, MI.

They never had shows like this when I lived in the Ohio/Indiana area back in the 1970's. I've been in Central Florida since '79 and we never have shows like this anywhere around here. Maybe I need to move back!

Thanks for the cool pictures. Someday I WILL eventually be able to make a show. Mattel doesn't come near Florida either. Atlanta has been the nearest one to me. :(
