I just got a similar, if not the same, casting in silver.. very sweet '86. I only wish they didn't make it with the T-tops.. or that the T-tops were body colored instead of tinted.

Found it at Target.. on the top shelf, behind some Playmobil, down the lego aisle.. right where one of the employees hid it away to buy it later.. too bad I didn't find his TH stash...

One of my buddys has a Monte SS and asked him if he wanted me to pick one of these up for him and he said no because of the t-tops. He said most of them never had t-tops to begin with. I still may pick one up for myself. Do the t-tops come out?

Yes, the T-tops are removable! I don't care for them.. but it could be worse, they could have done the Aero-Carlo instead....
