I repowered a JD L120 with a used Craftsmen Kohler 20 hp OHV V-Twin engine (It had a Briggs on it before). The wiring harness did not match up so I had to do some rewiring. The engine will start with gas or starting fluid dumped into the carb. There is gas in the line at the carb, but it will not keep running. Is there an electric fuel pump or switch of some sort that is not allowing the fuel to pump into the carb? or do I have carb problems? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
