Hey folks wondered if you can help ? I have a B&S 8HP 191702 that smoked and idled rough under load, cleaned carb, oil change and new plug, now it only runs on choke, also the only adjustment that was on carb. was idle(out about 1.5 turns) others were run all the way in. Any suggestions.

I'm no expert, but I would recheck your carb. It sounds like the main jet is plugged.
