On History Channel tonight, I saw a segment on slot cars, on the show Modern Marvels. The show was about 60s technology. Pretty cool segment. It showed how they worked.

now i gotta check the listings for that...

Don't know how I missed that one. I usually have it on in the background as I tinker on cars or surf the net. Of all the ones to miss. :eek: rr

And I was left a bit under impressed...
Basically they touched on the subject of slotcars, mentioned that there were thousands of tracks in the 60's. And that people used to build their own cars.
Also mentioned the beginning of the big slotcar split or rift...
Thingys vs realalistic model cars....
The show didn't even mention the different sizes of cars.
Or the current resurgence.... :rolleyes:

I saw this episode yesterday. The fact that they didn't mentioned the different scales or "resurgence" was not the point of the segment.

It was the technology behind it. Randy.
