I picked up this set with some early 60's Matchbox that a local lady was selling. It belong to here son who is 54 years old now. Some pieces have Made in USA cast into them, while others have TRU TOYS barely legible etched into the metal before being painted

That's a very nice tractor set in great condition!

The trailer behind the tractor is a fertilizer spreader. Looks like the tractor ran through some do-do too, with it caked into the rear tire treads.

Yep. This was no carpet farming. The kid that had this played with it out in the back forty.
