Xtreme Speedway is located in Harrman, Tn. just outside of Oak Ridge, bout 30 Minutes from Knoxville. The track started out a dirt track back 4 years ago and we've now concreted it just this year. The track is a 240 ft. progressive banked concrete Tri-Oval. There is plenty of parking with pit tables with power to them. Also we have a concession building to keep you going through out the race day. We use AMB scoring and our classes include Stock Electric Truck, 7.0 Breakout Legends, 6.0 Breakout PanCars, 13.5 PanCars, Stock Gas Truck, 1/8 Buggies, Stock Nitro Touring Cars. A good crowd of racers came out to tame the concrete this past Saturday. In the Legends 7.0 Breakout class it was Charlie ' Rotten' Gouge coming out with the win after a close race with the father and son team of Wayne Young and Ryan Young with Wayne taking 2nd and Ryan 3rd. In the Pan Car 6.0 Breakout class it was Wayne Young coming out on top edging out Richard Bean by only 4 hundreths of a second talk about a close race, and Billy Springs rounding out your top 3. In the 13.5 Brushless Pan Car class it was Michael Lively coming out with the win after holding off Hard charger Jonathan Soldner who finished 2nd and Larry 'the man' Eller finishing 3rd. A new overall track record laptime was set By Michael Lively with a 4.31 laptime. In the Stock Gas Truck Class it was Flying Brian Helmick with the win in his Jato, Ryan Young 2nd, Troy Odell 3rd and Rockey rounding out the top 4. In the 1/8 Buggy class it was Josh Southard with the win, Robert Spears 2nd, Troy Odell 3rd and Jerry Johnson 4th. In the Stock Nitro Touring car class it was Crash with the win laying it down with the #4 car, Robert Treadway 2nd, Matt Hunt 3rd, Mark Shipwash came out 4th. In the 1/8th latemodel class it was Matt Hunt with the win, Crash 2nd, Robert Treadway 3rd, Mark Shipwash 4th. We'd like to thank everyone for coming out and hope to see everyone next week.
