View Full Version : Batmobile: First Try
Franklin2700 05-14-2007, 03:19 PM I thought that the Batmobile would look a little better with some added detail. Hopefully I'll do better on future versions with the striping - its hard to get those lines even!

Beest 05-14-2007, 11:11 PM NIce work.
spencer1984 05-15-2007, 09:00 AM Very nice work! I like the extra detail work on the arch/beacon/glass as well, and the shorter hollow rocket tubes look great.
Will you be painting the exhaust nozzle, or do you plan to leave that black? Either way looks good!
Quantum 05-15-2007, 09:54 AM Instead of painting, try red decal paper for the pinstriping.
96gsfan 05-15-2007, 10:15 AM Looks good. Fairly steady hand you have there.

Decal paper? Thats not a bad idea... where do I buy some?
As for the exhaust... was just going to leave it like that for now...

RobDog 05-19-2007, 05:49 PM you did a great job!
The details add a lot of eye-catching personality, to an already great casting!

CtotheB 05-20-2007, 08:53 PM Pretty good job with the trim!
stupidsquirrels 05-21-2007, 12:59 AM Buddy, if you did all that detail freehanded, and this is your first try, I'm almost afraid of the stuff coming from you in the future.
Nice job.

Franklin2700 05-21-2007, 02:45 PM Thanks for all the kind words guys - I find that I really like this casting with just a few finishing touches. I've made 5 or 6 of them now... maybe traders or sellers or the occasional RAOK. Next project... who knows! I think the Camaro Concept would look good with some real riders...
Thanks again!
