I found this awesome car, and think its a slot car but cant find out when and who made it! Here is what the under side looks like, the only identification was this code: PA16D141

Somebody is going to get this right for sure, but I think it looks like one of the early A.C. Gilbert slot cars. How far off am I?

I have a few sets of with those cars.It's actually an AC Gilbert set from1960.Those old train motors sure are heavy.They also made a red car.The race set is old style.I have a couple of these set's.I'll take a picture tomorrow and send it up. Tom Stumpf

It looks like a 60's car. Rumor has it that it is almost completing its first lap on the 22 ft set that it started in 1961. Just jokin'.

Actually, it looks like a Zamboni.
