Does anyone know what happened to radicaldecals.com ?

Because of this post, I wen't to the web site as well and also discovered it closed. I loved this fellows work, and he seemed like a good guy. I hope all is OK with him and he's back up soon. Great decals!

I've been getting my decals from Bob for over a year now and the last time his store was closed was due to printer problems. He also suffers from a really bad back which slows him down considerably when it acts up. He was having a pretty rough go of it in March. Hopefully he'll be back. If I find out anything else, I'll post. :cry:

There were problems between radical Decals and another member of another chat board. The member had posted pics of decals that looked exactly like Roberts' decals. There was quite a heated discussion and the end result was that radical decals is down until he can try to copyright his items.
This is all that I know at this time. I too, use his decals and have for quite a long time.
And if he ever starts selling them again, I will buy from him. It's shame that he is out of the picture. hipefully it's only temporary.

Very sad news

I just got an email from Robert. He's fine. I don't know anything about the ownership of design dispute that Dr. Von Auto mentioned, but he is still open for business on a limited basis at http://www.robsmodeling.com Looks like he's opening a bigger and better store at this site in the Fall. Slot car bodies and a bunch of other cool stuff :thumbsup:
