Sorry for the terrible pun.....
Hans Glas GmbH started making cars in 1955 - the first being the Goggomobil 250 - by the mid sixties, they were producing a full range of cars, including the V8 Coupe, here modelled by Norev. Glas were taken over by BMW in 1966 - the Glas marque ceased in 1968.

The Glas V8 was nicknamed the Glaserati - any resemblance to the Maserati Sebring was, I'm sure, coincidental.
As for the Bitter, well Erich Bitter, in 1974 ,introduced the CD - based on the mechanicals of Opel's flagship, the Diplomat, which used a V8 engine, courtesy of Chevy. The model is by Minichamps.
