Sounds like you had a problem with your State representative. Please do not tarnish the image of the series that we are attempting to build in our area.

Yes we did. Seems like carlton would have resolved this issue by now. The facts may tarnish the series, that I can not help. If somthing like this was going on in your area I would hope you would inform your fellow racers.

Do not make are state rep the fall guy. Power comes from the top down.

So far .... things are good. First round is next week. I have full confidence in the rep and tracks involved that it will be a good one....

I wish you luck and that I could be there, but me and some fellow racers are not willing to paticipate in any more of the rc pro series races because of this issue. It would have just been till this issue was resolved but now it has been too long.

Just an F.Y.I for you, I'm not sure how long ago you contacted Carlton but he has had Bronchitis (sp) for the past two weeks and is trying to get over that right now. He is bombarded by e-mails right now and I'm sure he just hasn't had the time to respond to you guys yet. I didn't read your entire Michigan thread but just remember Carlton's the head guy for more races this year than there are weeks in a year! He can't possibly be expected to answer to every issue that arrises. The State Reps have a responsibility to be the main person for their state. I believe your state rep is the one you need to contact and get things straightened out with!

I think he knows by now its been like 8 months. Carma will get you sick every time. This invovles 44 racers. Maybe he should finish his work from last year????????, before he starts more. Are state rep did fail us but he is not the fall guy.

This needs to be resovled!!

Yes it should be resolved. However, someone from within Michigan needs to take control and correspond with lovett.ds@sbcglobal.net the National director of the State Series..

This attempt to damage the image of RC/Pro and other State series races will do ZERO to advance the Hobby and our fellow racers.

Ok I will try.

This is not an attempt to damage the image of any series. I am just letting other racers know what happened to us when we ran the RRC PRO SERIES.
People can come to there own conclusions from the facts.

Talking about things like this will only help racing and the hobby. Pushing them under the rug would not do any good.

thanks again for the info.

I will let you know when I hear back or finally receive my shirt.

are you kidding over a t shirt
This is about 44 ts

Also this could just be the tip of the iceburg.Little probs like this usually lead to bigger ones. This could be a sign!

44ts=$500 or so (that could almost be considered grand theft)

Who knows maybe some of these folks would like to put together a class action law suit?

Nope... didn't get picked on. I didn't go cry on the internet over a $2 shirt either.

Here's a hint, I don't even know this guy that didn't give out the shirts... but I can tell you why he didn't. 44 racers isn't even enough to cover the costs unless the entry fee was $100 a class. 44 racers is a club race, not an event that requires shirts. He tried to do something nice by organizing a series, nobody showed up, and he probably lost his behind. Now you want to take him to court because you didn't get your t-shirt from 8 months ago? If anything, RC Pro appears to have lost money on the trophies that they supplied.

I've been to plenty of RC Pro Events. It is the most progressive organization in the country right now for R/C. Your issue is isolated and the fault of one guy who was in over his head.

I wish you good luck in your efforts to single handedly bring down the organization. If you succeed, I have a closet full of race shirts I'll send you.
