Today, I saw a new Jaguar E-typ coupe in dark blue racing livery with a wide white stripe and narrow red stripe and number "27" in a meatball on the hood. It was available in a 10-pack.

The car looks very cool, and it's a must have if you are a fan of this casting. I passed on the 10-pack and will wait for it to appear in a single car package.

Has there been any precedent of cars appearing in Matchbox 10-packs which were then not available as single releases?

Yes it is true. For 2007, Matchbox will be releasing 3 10-packs per quarter. 2 of the 10-packs will feature a couple of exclusives, with a variety of normal issues from singles and 5-packs. The other 10-pack will feature all exclusive models. The blue Jaguar is from the all exclusive 10-pack.

I've got the package returned in the mail, with a message "return to sender does not live here not high school" written on the package. Tried to PM you, but your mailbox is full.

If your into wheel variations the bug comes with two different wheels in this 10 pack. The pictured disk type and the dark tri spoke.

Don't know but I've seen less of the tri spoke variation.
