I don't think this is it. This looks like a regular points race. Randy is talking NCS race from 5/5/07.

Randy was the man but broke with about 10 laps left
in sportsman . He said he can't wait for the next race
it was the most fun he's had in years

Thats what Randy Brown said about running a sprint car at Easley last year. Yes he had a great time with the sprinter.

Yup , I was refering to the NCS race . I did talk to Brent Gotfried last night and he said there was 29 entries , 11 GN , 8 Sprinters and the rest Sportsman . I'm alittle shetchy on the results , Roger Newell won GN , Mark Aldrich 3rd , Brent 7th , Orrin Sundea 11th . Orrin had one of WCM 's new full roll cage cars . Randy Brown TQed the Sportsman class , had troubles the last few laps and took fifth and Doug M. was fourth . Sorry didn't catch who won . Bob Bates 1st and Dave Hart 2nd in the Sprinters . Not a very good reporting job but it was a short conversation .

Results are coming Scott.

Randy it was 46 entries. Beat Easley by one entry.

Nice facility with "Soft" walls. Basically tires sandwiched between boards. Robin and Joe did an awesome job fixing up the track and with the timing and scoring duties. Few of us can appreciate how much work this is.

One of the most impressive things was the RC Scoring Pro system. Robin had it set up in practice so that a pre-recorded voice announced your lap times every time you crossed the line. What an awesome tool to find the fast line on the track and to immediately see if the changes you made worked. Robin also told me that RC Scoring Pro was very user friendly.

I don't know if anyone took pictures. I sure didn't because I was too busy making my car go slower.(I've got to somehow break that habit.)

Friday night Tony Evans hosted a B-B-Q for all the racers at his home about 20 minutes from the track. What a generous and classy thing to do, Thanks Tony!

Finally I've got to say that the QSAC West guys are a great bunch to race with and I look forward to doing it again.

I hear ya on that Brent. I've been talking to Bob Knox and getting a few parts from him too. The folks there all seem real nice and run a first class club. I wasn't able to make it this year, but I have some plans.

I agree with Brent. Very nice facility and a great group of racers.

Special thanks to Robin and crew for putting on a great event. And a big thanks to Tony for the Bar-B-Q on Friday night. That was a lot of fun.

Like Brent mentioned, the scoring system was very impressive. You could have them print out your times. The print out had everytime you were on the track listed by time and it listed your fastest time, your fastest 5 lap average, fastest 10 lap average, and fastest 20 lap average. A great tuning tool.

Thanks again for putting on a great show
