I'd second that!

New here, new to ebay, prices that are way high EXCEPT for the UFO kit which everyone wants.

DO NOT SELL THAT kit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is already a collecters item and after RC2 shuts down ALL plastic kit production at the end of this year there just may be no more Star Trek kits pressed and sold.

Seems as though he did sell it. Got a good price too. Good for him!

Irishtrek,
Wow, I was not aware of that. Thanks for the info. I was planning on selling other vintage kits that I have from when I was a kid. I just never got around to building them.

I might sell a few now, but hang on to the really good ones though.

cheers.

What did it end up going for? Can't easily find the original auction and don't feel like trying to figure out how. Sorry, I'm a lazy guy....

C'mon, Lee. "Let ye who is without sin..." and all that, y'know?

Sorry!

That one just grates on me--all the more since the younger generation seems to forget that "a" never precedes a vowel sound. :drunk:

The proper use of "a/an" is such a lovely little nuance to the English language that I hate to see it misused. It makes English (which is a Germanic language and could have evolved to be a lot more gutteral) much softer on the ears.

Hey "Perfesser", lighten up. It was just a typo. I am fully aware of how to properly use the English language, as you are, obviously.

What really "grates" me is that you assume that I am from the "younger generation". I am the same age as you.(Dec/1962)--same generation.

Something far worse than the improper use of the English language are people like you who nit pick on the younger generation, when in reality are "an" backside themselves.

Is that soft enough on the ears for ya?

just a thought.

That's enough, Canukdude. For starters, Perfesser already apologized and attempted to explain why. Let me - or other Moderators - handle this sort of stuff. You're also officially warned about use of Adult Language in any form. You need to go read the TOS above about use of adult. There's also no need to exacerbate the situation any further by flaming another member of the forums.

Before this gets further out of hand - as I think it will - I'm locking this thread.
