i have a briggs and stratton motor on my craftsman mower and i think i filled too much oil when changing the oil. so now my mower is smoking alot and it seems like its very week. i changed the spark plug and i see oil on it. what should i do now. i wanted to take it apart but dont know how. please help...

just unscrew the oil drain screw and just let some oil flow out... and if theres oil on it then yes it has too much oil.

i drain out all the oil and fill in with 20oz. i actually measure this time. it doesn't smokes but it feels like it wants to die out on me.

water in gas... does it sputter when you gas it? uneven runing? uneven runnig can be caused by gummed carb or by a spark plug.l old gas?

You could have oil in your air filter, if it's a paper filter, then replace it, if it's a foam one, wash out with dish washing detergent and water, dry and work in about an ounce of clean motor oil.
You also may need a new spark plug.
