I shipped a B4 and parts to Ohio. The guy paid fast so I shipped USPS Priority with delivery confirmation. USPS.gov says it was delivered 4/30 (shipped it 4/28), he says he never got it. I suggested he check with his local PO first since they are the one who said they delivered.

Anybody have any suggestions for the next thing to do? I can call PO but won't they just say it was delivered?

Never had a problem like this before. Buyer said he couldn't find the tracking number but I keyed it up and immediately got the confirmation.

LMK what you guys think.

couple things, make sure addy is right? if it is then either he is lying or it was stolen, I doubt the post office did anything fishy but ya never know, the reg mail person could have been out sick or something. I had one prob over the years with the post office sayiing it was deleiverd but I never received it until weeks later, I had moved and forgot to tell the person my new address, but I did a change of address with the post office and had everything rerouted to my new address, but the package I was supposed to receive said delieverd but it realy wasnt, it was just in transit to my new addy, make sense?

Thanks for the feedback. I sent him a PM and asked to confirm the addy that I used which was on his PayPal.

I posted positive feedback for him because of the fast payment, I hope that this is an honest mistake.

how is his feedback and can anyone vouche for him? if he is honest he will say yea I got it or not either way give it alittle more time, he can make a paypal claim but since you have a tracking number on it and can provide that number and shows deleivered I dont think anything will be taken out of your account. thats all they ask for is some sort of proof of your end. hope all is good in the end for ya.

I saw a similar incident either on here on on RCTech a while back ago...lucky for the person who sold/sent the item the person who received it at the wrong address was cool and sent it back...

The buyer had given the wrong address..and he screamed bloody murder that he was getting screwed...until the seller posted the address the buyer gave him...and then the buyer just said "OPPS, my mistake"

...I'm sitting here waiting for a car supposedly shipped on Apr 24 from Maine, I'm starting to think it's coming on the back of a turtle...

There is a form that can be filled out at the PO, it's also available online at the USPS site. I sent a package before that was deemed delivered, yet the person swore they didn't get it. Unfortunately for the buyer, nothing happened out of it, and since there was no insurance, nothing amounted from it...

The buyer has a rating of 1, I have a rating of 26. He was shopping on Hobby Talk yesterday because I traced his postings. I will hit the USPS website for the form and start follow up. He has not responded to my PM yet. I do have my receipt and shipping form from PO so I think I can prove everything was legit on my end. I will post if anything else develops.

Delivery confirmation means it comes with a signature, right? You should contact the post office and request a copy of the signature of whoever signed for it.

There are more than one form of delivery confirmation. The one I used does not require a signature. However now he doesn't respond to my e-mails where I informed him that the package was delivered. But he has been on Hobby Talk trying to buy other stuff. I have submitted a request through the post office to confirm delivery through the local post office. We will see what he has to say next.

larry-dont sweat this.your an honnest person and eveyone that knows you or have bought from you(on several different forums)knows that.if he paid by paypal and you shipped it to a confirmed addy the let paypal just pay him back as they insure you up to 250.00 if you use the confirmed addy.

from my past doings with paypal,NEVER ship to an unconfirmed addy or give the goods in person.ship them and alweay get a confirmation number.dont sell anything over 250.00 as if sumthing goes wrong then you are screwed the ruddest way you ever been screwed.
good luck and take care.

I have now sent four e-mails and four PMs, he has not responded to any of them. I will not do anything else unless I hear from him. I think he had it all the time and now won't own up to it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I have worked hard to keep a straight record as I was taken once and didn't like it a bit. That is why I always include more stuff than I list with every package I send.

Thanks for all the feedback. I will not post again unless something really weird happens.

I think this is waht you are talking about. "Signature Conformation (http://www.usps.com/send/waystosendmail/extraservices/signatureconfirmationservice.htm)" It costs $1.90 extra.

Yes it is, so I will. Post buyer contacted me by PM today and said he had me mixed up with another seller. Pretty sloppy work but I am not going to give him a bad rating. He did pay fast. Thanks for all the help guys.

Have a great summer of racing.
