The SCX PRO cars came in today. The SCX Audi R8 PRO should fair well against the Slot It and Spirit Reynard Sport slot cars.

Interesting....I don't follow the SCX cars too much, but, how do these compare to the Slot.It's and Spirit Sport's? Aluminum wheels? Upgrade crown gears? What all are they packaged with? Just wondering.

The SCX Audi R8 PRO car was designed to compete with the Slot It and Spirit Sport slot cars. Both PRO cars come with a lightweight body, set screw crown gears, PRO motor which is rated at a higher RPM than all previous SCX motors, aluminum rims and calibrated axles. The Audi R8 PRO also comes with an extra motor pod for mounting Ninco NC-5 sized motors and an internal brake system. The Citroen PRO also comes with 4WD and a drop arm guide.

Thanks Brian! Kind of feel like a dork - could have just went out to your website and took a look at the links you had to SCX. LOL! VERY interesting! I kind of like all of the adjustment points on the Audi R8 Pro. May have to take a look at one of those soon.

I receivered the car last Monday, and I found it to be one great kit! I haven't had a chance to actually race it yet, but from what I have done with it, it appears to be a very strong non-magnet car. It should do well when I do get it into a race! It compares very favorably with the Slot.it's I own.
