For sale is a rare and highly collectible Model Expo color catalog from 1987. The cover has a few wrinkles and very slight rips (less than .5") around the corners but overall it is in outstanding shape for a paperback catalog almost as old as HPI. This issue profiles the Maruchi Big Bear, Samurai, Hunter, Galaxy, the Maruchi Jeep CJ7 Golden Eagle and an Italian R/C Ferrari GTO (unsure of the brand). It also covers a pair of R/C yachts: the Heron 12 and the Sea Comet along with an array of die-cast cars, boats, planes, etc. If you're looking for a completely unique piece from the days before "RTR" and "pre-built" anything, this is it. There is no discoloration on any of the pages, there are no stains or spills or pen marks anywhere and it even has the original coupons and order forms in tact.
