Just for my curiosity, and not because I'm insane enough to try to find/buy them, does anyone have the correct list of the White Thunders which were produced for release 1, both TJ500 and XT? I understand that there are 24 potential WTs, but I have not gotten any definitive word on whether the WTs in the jewel case are the same as the WTs in the clam shell.

Thanks...Joe

If you're referring to the AW cars' last release, then each car has a WT version, in jewel and clam......which are different.

A quick glance of mine looks like the 68 racing Camaro is the only tuff one with two versions and all the xts have two versions except for the Baja Bronco.

You have actually gotten all 24? That's amazing. Did you have to take out a second mortgage?
So that would make 7 total WTs in TJ-500 and 11 WTs for the X-Tractions.
Correct?

Thanks...Joe

Yupper, got em all. No second mortgage but it did keep me from adding other cars to the collection for awhile.

Just for curiosity, would you share what kind of effort you had to put into trying to find all 24 cars?

Thanks...Joe

Are the cars different, or just the packaging?

Grandcheapskate-all it took was lots of specific e bay searches followed by general ones every day or two. It also helps being single. My best catch was the 68 racing Camaro. I did a search for white car and found it in e bay motors. $10 and I was the only bidder.

many slots-The following are the same car both jewel and clam:
XT Baja Bronco
TJ500 GTO, Corvette, Cougar, Baja Blazer, Avanti

There are two versions of all the others. For most it is different colors for numbers, stripes and printing. The 55 Chevy has #28 meatballs on the clam car and the jewel has no numbers. The 69 Dodge Daytona clam has a painted black wing and the jewel car is not painted.

I really have to learn how to post pics.

Can you list all the differences when you get time. Thanks
