That picture for the General Lee, doesnt look detailed at all, or is that the 1/25 scale General Lee? I dearly hope that one isnt the General Lee, and I hope they throw White Lettered tires on it this time, I would sure as heck throw 40.00$ on that!

That is not the "Authentic" that is from a limited run. The regular line Authentic will have no chase or "black" pieces.

I never knew the original General Lee was black!

Yeah. It was the very first car Bo, and Luke found. Found it in Cooter's Junkyard. They raced it to get money, and then painted it!

I think this is what Buzz83 is talking about. It's a Supercars exclusive. Also just to add to the black General Lee discussion, Bo and Luke never drove a black General Lee with the 01 on the sides or a flag on the roof. The Charger that they purchased from a junkyard (not Cooter's) was black but before it was driven was painted with some old paint Cooter had in the garage for Hazzard County road signs. After being painted orange, Daisy and Uncle Jesse hand painted the 01's and Confederate flag to get it ready for the big Hazzard County Road Race. That is the General Lee origin story. The car was owned previously by some crooks that crashed it in a high speed pursuit, and Bo needed a good car for his race engine that he had built.

The only close to accurate version is the first 1/18 chase car that was put out by ERTL with the General painted gloss black without 01's or flag. It did however have a pushbar on it whereas the origin car was just a plain black Charger.

The other three pics are pre-production samples of the Authentics General Lee. I don't know if these have been seen or not, seems to be coming together nicely.
